The Details

We were contracted to replace a dated visual installation to coincide with a store refurbishment.

The installation had to interface with the existing visual source, in this case a computer driven video server.
We were also charged with image improvements, as the existing installation suffered from varying poor picture quality.

The Solution

We specified and supplied the equipment to match the designers visual requirements as well as offering long term reliability. We converted the existing signal from standard NTSC Video to a computer display resolution, which allowed us to implement a Cat5 distribution product for signal distribution to the screens.

The idea of the Cat5 was to minimise signal interference over the long cable run from the source equipment, while allowing the possibility of easy future expansion.
As the store remained open during the refurbishment's, the installation had to be carried out over a single night.
The outcome was a great looking feature wall with stable clear images, operation is via a simple on/off switch.
